About
Welcome to The Sports Posters Blog! Sports poster collecting is a hobby like no other: publishers are notoriously poor with communication, and nearly every licensed sports poster publisher has gone out-of-business, so information on this staple product in the licensed sports business is hard to find and rarely publicized.
With this blog, we aim to inform and entertain, and promote poster collecting as a rewarding and fascinating corner of the sports memorabilia world. As a product that has been around for four decades, it’s time that sports posters received their due credit as a product that has had a major impact on North American popular culture!
Please don’t forget who has made this blog possible – the fine people at SportsPosterWarehouse.com, who only ask that you shop for your wall art and collectible posters at their store first, last, and sometime in between…

Hello! Hope you can help me with a Brooks Robinson poster (whether it was produced or not). I saw an ad in a magazine years ago for MLB posters; pictured were a Johnny Bench poster with him throwing to second. I’ve seen the Bench poster and I think it was a Renselaar Corp. poster. Pictured next to the Bench poster, in the ad, was a Brooks Robinson poster with him in a batting pose. I have the SI poster in the fielding pose, and the one where you see his back with Jose Pegan from the 1971 World Series, but I was wondering was this just a picture for the ad, or was it really produced? It seems possible since the Johnny Bench was produced. Any iteas?
Thanks for any help you can give.
Regards,
Mark Comer

I wanted to comment that this company took my money for a Christmas present and despite several emails have not yet sent my son two basketball posters he was longing for. In the UK basketball is still a young sport and access to this type of image is rare. WE thought we were making a purchase from a reputable company but are sorely disappointed by the service we have received. They quickly took our money – but no response since then – November no less!!!!! Sorry to be a harpy but we just thought a warning was due to others before they hand over their credit card details. Disappointment may well follow!

You guys have a great collection of sports posters! Well done!
We’ve been working on an online tool for creating custom sports posters. We’ve got a growing collection of sports related backgrounds, and users can add their own photos and captions onto them.
Thought you guys might be interested in something like that. You can check out it out at http://www.postermywall.com/index.php/p/sports-team-poster
